Vitamin C Antioxidant Brightening Serum

This is my second vitamin C skincare product, and I’m happy to say I won’t be looking for anything else. Previously, I used a Korean vitamin C cream but didn't see any results from it at all. It has a very liquid texture, so it took me a bit to figure out the best way to apply it. At first, I tried pumping a few drops directly onto my face like others do, but I have some sensory sensitivities and found that feeling unpleasant. Instead, I create a small "cup" with my palm and dispense 1-2 pumps of the serum into it so it collects there. I then use my ring finger to scoop some of the serum out and apply it in big "dots" on my forehead, repeating this method for my cheeks, chin, neck, and nose. Afterward, I use my fingers to gather the leftover serum from my palm and evenly massage all the "dots" into my skin. Since I have dry skin, I’ve noticed that this serum isn't sticky or tacky once applied—instead, it feels smooth, plump, and nice. The scent is a bit unusual, but it's not bothersome to me and fades away after a few minutes. I typically wait 2-5 minutes before putting on moisturizer and sunscreen to allow it to absorb properly. I should mention that it's best to use this on clean skin. One time, I mistakenly applied it over some leftover self-tanner on my face, and it was incredibly itchy and uncomfortable the whole day. Just make sure to apply it as the first step in your daily routine, and you’ll be all set.

The price is reasonable compared to some of the luxury brands, and the quality is on par. I decided to give this a try because it contains the same ingredients as a $100+ serum I used before. I came across a review claiming this serum is just as good, and they both have a similar texture and color. Honestly, after using it daily for two to three months, I haven’t noticed much of a change in my skin. Since my skin is already in pretty good shape, the fact that it hasn’t gotten worse suggests this serum might perform similarly to the much pricier one. So, I’m going to keep it on auto-ship. However, I do have an issue with the pump; the second bottle tends to dispense two or three times too much product, which feels wasteful!
