I’ll give this a solid 5 stars. I’ve been using the Lauve Cyperus Rotundus Oil for a few weeks now and honestly, I was a little skeptical at first but it’s actually pretty decent. The oil feels lightweight and not super greasy which I appreciate because I hate anything that just sits on my skin. It absorbs fairly well and doesn’t irritate my skin at all even on more sensitive areas. As far as hair reduction goes, it’s not an overnight miracle but I do notice the hair growing back a bit slower and finer compared to before. You definitely have to stay consistent to see results. I also like that it leaves my skin feeling calmer after hair removal and I’ve noticed my pores look a little less noticeable over time. The scent is okay not amazing but not terrible either, and it fades quickly so it doesn’t bother me. The bottle size is decent but I do wish it was a little bigger for the price. Overall, it does what it claims if you’re patient and realistic. Not perfect but good enough that I’ll keep using it and probably repurchase.

I do like the smell. It’s not a smell for everyone but to me it smells forest fresh or like trees I can’t explain the smell because I never smelled anything like it before. Customer support is great.
I’ve been using this Lauve oil for well over a week and so far I really like it, just for its moisturizing properties alone. Bonus points if with time it actually helps lessen hair growth, especially on my chin area. I’m In my 50’s, female and I’ve been dealing with the dreaded wayward hairs popping out on my chin and neck area and I have high hopes that this might help slow it at least. I can’t give a review yet on that aspect as I haven’t been using it long enough, but I will say it’s been a great moisturizer for the area around my mouth and my neck area. Far better than what my normal night moisturizer was doing as I’d wake up with my skin feeling tight and dry, especially now during the winter with the heat running and it so dry in the house. I will say that it is a lightweight oil, but is very viscous (runny) and quite greasy, so a little goes a long way. I’m not sure I’d recommend it to someone that has acne prone or already oily skin, but I could be wrong. It’s perfect however for people like me with dry skin. It also has a fairly strong scent. I happen to love it though. It’s like a citrus herbal scent. It might be a bit strong for those that are sensitive to scents.
