Dera Microneedle Patches

Another new skincare technology to try! I am a sucker for at-home skincare products because frankly, I don’t have the money to go to high end spaces and massages. The Glo7 microdart undereye patches are interesting. The idea is that the microdarts “pierce” into your skin allowing products such as collagen, peptides and retinol to absorb more effectively into our skin, instead of the products just sitting on top of our skin. It makes a lot of sense but honestly, it would take long term usage to actually 100% verify that it works. With that said, the eye patches are still something I would continue to try. The price point is good, the idea of taking time to take care of our body is a positive thing. Do the eye patches miraculously help with fine lines, wrinkles and dark circles after 4 applications? Not realistic but I would not rule it out as a positive experience.

I really like these microdart patches and their ingredients. They are easy to apply. You feel a slight tingle at first, but it doesn't hurt at all, and the microdarts dissolve after a while. When I press down later, they're gone! ​I especially love using them on my smile lines as a quick fix because the lines look noticeably fainter afterward. I also use them as eye patches and leave them on overnight, and they stay put perfectly. I've tried them both with and without my skincare routine underneath. They stay in place either way, but I prefer doing my routine first, waiting a bit, and then applying the patches. It makes them much easier to remove the next morning. Without anything underneath, the adhesive is so strong that it hurts a bit to peel off since the eye skin is so delicate. Overall, I really like using them and would recommend them!

I was SO excited to try this microdart technology! And, what fun it's been! Love these! I always look at the ingredient list of anything before I get it. I was happy to see retinol in this for the appearance of fine lines. It has peptides which helps firm skin. Niacinamide is one of my favorite skincare ingredients because it helps support the skin barrier and improve overall skin tone. Also, the formula contains hyaluronic acid, collagen, panthenol, and PDRN (salmon DNA), which has been getting quite a bit of attention lately for its role in supporting skin repair. Looking at everything together, this seems like a really nice combination of ingredients. At least one of them has to work! Ha! I'll admit it...I was a little nervous about pressing hundreds of tiny little microdarts into the skin under my eyes. It sounded much scarier than it actually was! Once I applied the patches and gently pressed them into place, it actually felt really good. You can definitely feel the microdarts at first, but they don't hurt. It's more of a light prickly sensation, almost like a sugar scrub, but the spicules quickly becomes comfortable. It definitely leaves me with the impression that the ingredients are reaching a little deeper than a traditional eye patch. The patches also stayed in place well, and I like that they're designed to be worn for an extended period of time. I wear them overnight. Products like this are something I evaluate over several weeks, not after a single application. The ingredient list and the microdart delivery system definitely make me want to keep using them, and I will. I really like these. The microdart technology makes them a fun. If you're a little intimidated by the tiny microdarts like I was, don't be, they're much gentler than they look and sound. I'm looking forward to seeing how my under-eye area responds with continued use. So far, so good!

These are fun. I’ve used micro dart products before from a different brand that are for deep wrinkles in other places, so I was excited to try these. I was a little apprehensive about them because the under eye area is so delicate, but I’m glad I did. These come in a box with 8 sets, all individually wrapped. Each one comes in a little plastic holder with tape covering the adhesive. I was able to pull the tape off easily and placed them under my eyes. I did not do the overnight as suggested, and instead just did about 90 minutes with them. I’m not totally sure I could do them overnight as they did start to slip off as the 90 minutes drew to a close. They’re very easy do leave a little bit of an impression in the skin after removal, but that goes away after a bit. They’re very easy to apply, and hopefully I’ll see some improvement. They’re also almost completely clear once they’re on the face, so if you forget to take them off to run an errand, no one will really notice unless they stare for a while and let’s be real, that’s kind of weird and totally on them.

I was looking for effective under-eye patches and decided to give these a try. While they are a bit of an investment, the unique micro-dart technology gives a distinct, prickly feeling when pressed onto the skin, letting you know the nourishing formula is penetrating deep down where it's needed most. Rather than just sitting on the surface like traditional soft gels, these feel super targeted and active. They leave my under-eye area feeling refreshed and thoroughly hydrated!
